Food Manufacturer: An End-to-End Odoo Implementation

The Factory floor was frantic, and the anxiety of misheard phone orders used to cause constant friction between retail stores and production teams. The factory staff completely eliminated order transcription errors and reclaimed hours of uninterrupted production time.
This change was achieved by transitioning the 20+ retail shops away from phone-in orders to a system where they log demand directly into Odoo. The retail side was built out using Odoo Point of Sale (PoS), paired with a custom integration for the Dojo payment gateway, ensuring that store sales and factory orders update in a single database in real time.


Manufacturing speeds increased noticeably, and warehouse teams achieved rapid, error-free inventory movement.
These gains were driven by a user interface overhaul that stripped out unnecessary clicks across multiple factory work centres, making the software intuitive for the floor staff. To support this speed, the implementation integrated Odoo directly with physical hardware devices on the production line. A custom-developed stock distribution module was also introduced, transitioning the warehouse to complete barcode scanner automation that removed manual tracking from the distribution process.


Management significantly accelerated their reporting times and simplified weekly staff scheduling.
This efficiency was gained by deploying an HRMS module equipped with customised shift planning and attendance tracking tailored to the factory's workforce. To handle industry regulations, custom development was used to build a compliance reporting feature that automatically pulls live data and outputs it into a highly specific, print-ready layout required by the business.
